Personal profile

André has lectured at the Law School since 1997 and is the author of .  On the LLB programmes, André lectures contract and European law.  Over the years, he has also taught LLB consumer law, commercial law, competition law and sports law, as well as EU competition law, International trade law and event management law on the LLM programmes. 

In terms of leadership and strategic responsibilties, André is Education 2030 Transformation Lead for the Faculty of Business & Law. In addition, he is a Law Representative on the Faculty Staff Loading Review Group. As a member of the Faculty Academic Committee André, is involved in the academic strategy and policy of the Faculty. For a number of years, he was the Programme Leader for LLB Business Law as well as BA Business Managment & Law and BA Law & Economics. 

On wider responsibilities for academic quality, he is a member of the Faculty Development and Review Committee which evaluates proposals for curriculum and assessment development for all courses in the Faculty as well as conditions for course validations. In addition, André has the following experience as an external examiner:
