Sarah Sein is an experienced academic lecturer and former senior manager in the Probation Service, with a wide range of knowledge and skills. She has a strong history in training and organisational development on national, regional and local levels and has worked in strategic and change management, operational delivery, and partnerships.
Sarah has been working at ˽·¿¾ãÀÖ²¿ since April 2015 as a senior lecturer, involved with delivery of the Probation Qualifications pathways, under a contract with the Ministry of Justice. We work as an academic team, committed to providing the best possible quality learning provision for students aspiring to become probation officers (levels 4 and 5), as well as students already embarked upon the qualification programme (level 6).
Her primary responsibility is module leader for the Offender Management Approaches and Interventions module, which together with three other modules, forms the academic pathway to qualification. This module focuses upon the role of the probation officer in managing cases and working towards rehabilitation and protecting the public.
