Cyber Security Strategy Training
Overview
This is a cyber security strategy training environment to improve awareness and understanding of cyber security investment at all levels in your organisation. Using Serious Critical Protection Scenarios (SCIPS), this strategy course has been designed as a one-day training course to provide attendees with the opportunity to reflect on their organisation’s defensive capabilities and cyber security investment strategy by working through a simulated attack scenario.
Working in teams, participants work collaboratively but with intra- and inter-team competitive elements that drive debate between players about how to reallocate budgets in order to mitigate cyber threats in the context of critical infrastructure
WHY SCIPS? SCIPS is a team-based activity designed to introduce and encourage critical thinking about the nature and timeliness of cyber security investment. Developed by our cyber security experts here at the Cyber Technology Institute, the exercise highlights the requirement to balance security strategy with business and operational requirements and is particularly aimed at senior stakeholders within CNI organisations.
