Chanukah, or Hanukkah, began at sunset on 14 December 2025, and will continue until Thursday 2 January. Chanukah is the Festival of Lights. Across eight days, a candle is lit on a Hanukkah Menorah, starting with the help candle or Shamash.
We wish a Happy Chanukah to all those who celebrate.
