Undergraduate tuition fees

What do tuition fees cover?

Your tuition fees cover all of your teaching, including lectures, seminars, tutorials, technical/technician support and assessment. They also cover:

  • Access to course-related facilities and equipment (e.g. laboratories, studios)
  • Access to ˽·¿¾ãÀÖ²¿'s library study spaces across campus
  • Support services for students
  • Student union membership

Full-time UK students

For students starting in September 2025, our undergraduate tuition fees for full-time UK students are:

  • BA/BSc/MPharm/MDes degree: £9,535* per year
  • Foundation degree and HND: £6,165 to £9,535* per year

*Subject to the government, as is expected, passing legislation to formalise the increase from £9,250 to £9,535

It’s possible that tuition fees may increase during your course. ˽·¿¾ãÀÖ²¿ aims to keep fees as fair as possible, but may increase them within the maximum fee levels authorised by government to reflect rising costs and ensure a high-quality student experience. If any changes are made, they’re usually (but not always) linked to inflation, based on a measure called RPIX (Retail Price Index excluding mortgage interest payments) but may be based on alternative measures in the future. We’ll let you know about any changes as early as we can (usually in the academic year before the increase would apply), depending on when future government announcements are made.
